Streams was designed based on the personality of Anthony Ho, an academic coordinator at Newhouse in Syracuse University. Streams is a monoline, sans-serif, display typeface that features flowing curves inspired by Vietnamese calligraphy and simplistic design. The name "Streams" and aspects of this design come from  Ho's name meaning rivers in Vietnamese.
